One
of the most valuable characteristics of UnaVia™ is its immense
flexibility. A series of design criteria and management
processes combine to create what is called the UnaFlex™ configuration.
UnaVia™
is scalable from sites with a very small number of users up
to sites with thousands of users. The components of UnaVia™
have already been implemented, tested, and utilized on systems
with several thousand workstations. UnaVia™
can be easily applied across multiple sites to standardize the
architecture of an entire enterprise. Tools such as Microsoft
Terminal Server are utilized as an integral part of UnaVia™
to provide cost effective solutions for small, satellite offices.
Operational flexibility is optimized by allowing any user to use
any computer at the site. It also allows multiple users to use
a single computer if work schedules make this advantageous.
UnaVia™ allows the use of existing assets where functional
performance requirements are met.
UnaVia™ accommodates flexible asset ownership. Assets on
a customer’s site can be provided by the customer, by Netway Solutions,
or in some combination.
